My BeyBlade Fan Fiction (what an original title!)
Chapter1: Jolly Good Show!
It was a slightly overcast afternoon, this rare event made us realise that it indeed was the end of the holidays and that school would soon begin. The sun was peeping out from behind the clouds; a slight breeze was rustling in the trees. The murky water of the Brisbane River was noticeably cleaner than usual. Though the day had been extremely dull so far we knew nothing bad could happen, nothing completely humiliating. There was a sound of good fortune in the air; I and Fiona could feel it.
Although, it was short lived. We were just walking down the street minding our own business, when we smashed headlong into the BladeBreakers. Boy were we hacked off.
"HI!" I said pulling Fiona up, "long time no see!"
"How was the Canadian tournament?" asked Fiona brushing the dirt off her favourite pink shirt and picking what seemed to be a bit of half dried gum off her sleeve.
"We won….as usual," said Tyson smiling, he was so cocky that it would have been hilarious if he had just dropped the food he was holding onto his BladeBreakers jersey. Although, I and Fiona were used to this by now.
"We may have won Tyson, but you need to train for the Australian tournament," sighed Kenny as he saw the look of contempt on our faces.
"No way Chief, we'll ace it, no-one can beat US!" replied Tyson.
"Except us!" I said smirking.
"Yeah, this is one tournament you aren't going to win!" added Fiona.
"We've improved a lot since the last time you battled us." said Kai
"OH YEAH????" I said butting up against his shoulder.
"Yeah," replied Kai stepping away from me so I fell flat on my face.
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see," I said while staggering up, then pushing my short, brown, curly hair behind my ears
"Let's go," said Fiona flipping her long, pale, blonde hair over her shoulder, "We have other things to do."
"Yes, simply spiffing to see you chums, toodlepip," I said putting on a fake British accent.
"Jolly good show," replied Fiona who was also in accent and we all laughed… except Kai, but that's just the way he is.
Alex: Well chaps what do you think?
Kai: Why do I have to get paired with such a loser?
Alex: BECAUSE I AM THE PROTAGONIST!
Fiona: What about me?
Alex: You're my supporting character, and Tai is Kai's supporting character.
Fiona & Kai: Who the heck is Tai?
Alex: You'll find out…*grins evilly... or tries to*
Fiona: Whenever she does that it gives me the creeps.
Kai: Tell me about it.
Chapter2: Kai is so cute when he's surly!!
When we had walked out of ear shot Fiona burst into an incoherent jabber.
"Hey, dude, chill…be mellow…go with the flooooooooow," I said.
"OH MY GOD! YOU WERE ACTUALLY TOUCHING KAI!!!!!!!!!!!! TOUCHING HIM!!! "
"Yah," I said flashing a big grin, "I know."
"I thought you liked Ray?" replied Fiona.
"Well I can like two guys at the same time, besides; Kai is so cute when he's surly!"
"Yeah, he's hot," sighed Fiona wistfully.
"The only problem with Ray is the little bitch Mariah," I said scowling, "but Kai doesn't even have a girlfriend."
"Well, you know Alex, Tyson doesn't have a girlfriend either, and you seem much more his type, I mean your personalities are so similar," said Fiona, not wanting competition for Kai's affections. Besides, who wants competition?
"NO WAY! TYSON????????? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND???" I said wide-eyed, "people like Stephanie like Tyson!"
"But you do have a lot in common with him, I mean you both eat huge amounts of food, and you are both loud over the top people."
"Whatever," I said, "talk to the hand, 'cus the face ain't listening."
"You are such a dag Alex."
"I know," I said smiling and then we both broke out laughing.
Five minutes later we were laughing at some lame joke we made up age ago (probably the one about wide screen Ray) when we bumped into someone.
"OOOF! That the second time today!" griped Fiona getting up, praying to God she didn't have another piece of half chewed gum on her.
"Yah, I think we better get used to it," I replied, ((A/N: Yes I have a lot more in store for us MUAHAHAHAHAH!)) "I wonder who we knocked over."
We both look at the person we had walked into and just stared.
"Kai?" asked a stunned Fiona looking at the young shounen dressed in black combat pants and a royal blue shirt.
"Kai?" asked the boy who looked like Kai, "who's Kai? My name's Tai"
"TAI???????" I asked looking at Fiona.
"Yes, my name is Tai Ayanami." ((A/N: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME KAI'S REAL LAST NAME????????????????????))
"T-Tai Ayanami?????" stuttered Fiona
"Please excuse us for a minute," I said shortly, "HUDDLE!!"
Tai stood there completely stunned too petrified to do anything
Fiona and I turned around and crouched in the middle of the foot path.
"Am I hallucinating or is he Kai's almost exact double?" I asked.
"No you're not hallucinating, I think this dude is Kai's long lost twin or something," replied Fiona.
"Although he could be some nut from an insane asylum and chosen to impersonate Kai," I said going into conspiracy mode.
"I doubt it; he looks perfectly sane to me, not to mention Kai-like."
"Ya, but he could be a sociopath," I replied.
"Get a grip girl." Fiona said, holding her by the shoulders and shaking her like a rag-doll.
"You're right Fiona; I need to get a grip."
-YES! - I thought -get a friggin' grip-
"OK!" I yelled turning around and facing Tai, "We have come to a decision, you are coming home with us and tomorrow we are taking you too see a few friends of ours!"
"Do you think that is a good idea Alex, he may be completely traumatized by the rest of the team"
"So? If he's related to Kai he should be fine, I mean at the New Zealand tournament Kai wasn't traumatized by our slothful habits."
"I'm still not so sure, I don't want a traumatized teenager on our hands, I mean, we're already surrounded by twisted ones I don't want to add Tai to our freak show."
"Well Fiona, frankly I don't give a damn!"
"OK, LET'S GO!" I said as I each linked an arm and Fiona followed suit. I knew she'd be really shy being around a cute guy she wouldn't want to be left out. Then we lead the Petrified shounen back to my house.
Tai: You guys are both psychopaths!
Alex: We preferred socially impaired people.
Fiona: We are so not psychopaths.
Kai: You seem to fit the description pretty well, hey maybe the insane asylum will give me reward for taking you back.
Tai: No way they'd destroy the place...
*Kai and Tai notice each other*.
Kai: OH MY GOD! YOU LOOK LIKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tai: NO YOU LOOK LIKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kai & Tai: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex & Fiona: *sweat drops*
Alex: Whoever knew that Kai could act so out of character?
Fiona: Yeah dude.
Alex: And I thought that they were supposed to be shounen…not bishounen
Kai & Tai: *stop screaming* WHAT???
Fiona: *giggling* I think you made 'em mad.
Alex: eep.
Fiona: Yes, eep indeed.
Alex: I'M THE AUTHORESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T STOP I'LL TURN YOU INTO DOG POOP!!!!!! I'LL MAKE YOUR COOK FOR TYSON 24/7!!!!!!!!! I'LL MAKE YOU KISS MARIAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'LL…I'LL…LOCK YOU BOTH IN A ROOM FULL OF FAN GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kai & Tai: *abruptly stop*
Alex: That's better.
Chapter3: It's the only pool they can go to where they won't get mauled.
About ten minutes later, Fiona and I were walking up the stairs leading to my back verandah, while still manhandling Tai.
"Xankoku na tenshi no youni shounen yo shinwa ni nare!" I sang at the top of my voice as I opened the gate that closed off the back deck.
"CAN YOU PLEASE STOP SINGING THAT????" asked Tai, who had finally cracked, "This is the third time you've sung that song!"
"You're just lucky that she isn't singing her beaver Hermione song, it's even worse," groaned Fiona.
"Great idea Fiona!" I said excitedly, "pity that we're home."
"Yeah…real pity."
"HI MUM! HI DAD! HI GABRI! HI GUYS!" I yelled as I walked through the french doors, I could hear Carla playing.
"What took you so long?" asked Carla getting up from playing one of her silent movie pieces on the piano, while Jenni was immersed in her new Tamora Pierce book.
"We ran into a few friends," replied Fiona.
"Hey? Is that Kai? I like your new clothes but the old ones looked better dude," said Jenni coming back to reality and then looking at Tai.
"No Carla, this is Tai, not Kai, we met him while we were walking back," I told her.
"We'll probably see them when we go to the Yeronga pool; it's the only pool they can go to where they won't get mauled. Although it would be funny to see them get mauled" said Fiona.
"There are no crazed fan girls there, everybody is either over 20 or under 8," said Carla.
"Lucky for them, it'd be a shame to see such good BeyBlade reduced to a bloody pulp," I said trying to keep a serious look on my childish face...without prevail.
"...Whose this them... are they your boyfriends?" finding it impossible to believe what he was saying, how could such weird girls have boyfriends.
"NO WAY! They're just some friends of ours," I said giggling hysterically at the thought of any of the BladeBreakers, excluding Kai or Ray, could be any of our boyfriends.
Just then my dad poked his head through the door to the kitchen.
"Are we going to the pool or not girls?" he asked.
"Yeah Dad we were just about to go and get ready," I replied, "Do you think that you'd have some togs that'd fit our friend?"
"I think that I have an old pair in our bedroom, just let me go and check."
"Ok Tai, you wait here while we go and get into our togs," Fiona said as we walked down to my room.
"He really looks like Kai," remarked Jenni.
"I know tell me about it. He really gave us a fright when we bumped into him," I said zipping up my navy blue cat suit.
"Why's that?" asked Carla raising an eyebrow.
"That's none of your business," snapped Fiona.
"Come on, us Thunder Blades never keep secrets from each other," said Jenni nudging Fiona. .
"We were talking about guys we liked, and Kai happens to be one of them," I said shortly grabbing my goggles and towel.
"OH my God!" yelled Jenni and Carla breaking into fits of laughter, "you guys like Kai???? I mean he is such a wet blanket, he never has any fun!"
"Yeah, yeah," grumbled Fiona dragging them out of my room, "are we going swimming or not?"
"Ok," said Carla who had laughed so hard she had fallen over and started crying, "but I can't believe it, you guys actually like KAI???”.
"Yes, get over it," I said grumpily as we walked down the hall and into the living room.
"Oh dear… we've really hit something there, Alex is pissed," said Jenni smiling as we walked onto the deck.
"Hey you guys look at Tai," said Fiona being a lifesaver, diverting their attention off me. Tai was standing there in an old pair of my dad's Speedos along with some navy blue board shorts.
"Hey, you look nice," I said smiling, which was the understatement of the century.
"Yeah, he really does brush up well," added Jenni.
"Are we going or not?" came my dad's voice from the garden where he as playing with my four year old sister Gabrielle on the swings.
"A'ex! HURRY UP!" yelled Gabri. !
"WE'RE COMING ALRIGHT????" I replied, "TALLYHO! FORWARD MARCH!"
"Ai, Ai cap'n" replied the rest of the team.
Once again my dagginess brought laughs among the group, even Tai chuckled. (A/N: very strange word that)
Alex: Well I think that this fic is going rather well don't you?
Jenni: IT needs more of me.
Carla: And me!
Fiona: And besides Carla I'm the sidekick so there *pokes tongue out*
Alex: *makes a sweeping movement with her hand* Well we can't all be speaking all the time.
Tai: You are, I could hear you from the bathroom and then when I moved out onto the deck I could still hear you.
Alex: Well I can't help it if I naturally project my voice. That's why I am such a good debater; with my keen intellect and natural voice projection I have brilliant debating skills. Those things also help while working on English orals. I also grew up in around theatres which also gives me a somewhat natural flare for drama.
Fiona: You're sooooooooooo modest.
Alex: *grins* I know.

HI!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I know that it's a little bit early, but I couldn't help it, I love any reason to use capital letters and excessive exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!(see?)
Well today things improved a little bit for me, I woke up in time to watch Bayblade. Then I went to the beach where I had a little bit of bad luck, but hey it doesn't really matter, I'm not the kind of person who lets a few small incidents get in the way of me having fun....(yeah, right)
Anyway I go out swimming and there isn't very much seaweed (which I have a mortal fear of!) compared to the day before, when there were huge banks of it that were visible from the sand dunes.
So I go out into the waves and just sorta...i dunno chill out and then i decide to go out and go under the waves and that kinda stuff. So the first wave I go under I go plunging down and almost break my nose!!!!!!!!!!! SO yah, I was kinda disheartened after that event and I just went and help my little sis build a sandcastle.
After that bogus start to the day I went to see Blue Crush in the afternoon and it TOTALLY KICKED BUTT! It was such a cool movie! I loved all the surfing scenes they were just majorly cool.

Hi! Well this is entry number two.
Right now i am really pissed off because I woke up too late to watch Beyblade! I can't beleive it! All because last night i was up for like and hour at two am! Then I woke up at about 4-30 when the sun was rising.....
So I get up at aobut 8-30 and go to make myself some popcorn for breakfast (veeeeeeeery nutritional) and there's no OIL!!!!!!!! So I have to settle for toastand I find out that there's no jam! My cousin's used it all up yesterday!so after that i just gave up and went back to bed.
So after my really crappy morning I am going on a loooooooooooong bikeride followed by a shopping trip.
